Brynmawr web design: a mobile enquiry checklist

Practical checks for a Brynmawr business website: clear services, readable phone screens, contact buttons and a working enquiry form.

18 October 2026

Start with the customer's next step

A local customer should be able to find what you offer and how to contact you without searching through several pages. Open your homepage on your own phone. Can you read the service name, see the area you cover and call or ask for a quote? Choose one main next step for each service page rather than giving every button equal weight.

Make the contact details usable

Use a clickable phone number, an email address you actually check and a short enquiry form. Ask for the details needed to answer the request: the service, the customer's location, the deadline and a way to reply. Do not collect extra information just because the form has space. Check that labels remain visible when someone starts typing and that the keyboard does not cover the submit button.

Test what happens after an enquiry

Send a test request with an email address you control. Confirm that the request reaches the person responsible for following up, that a confirmation explains what happens next, and that any reply goes to a monitored inbox. A form that looks good but never reaches you cannot help you win work. Keep a record of enquiries separately from visits: a page view is not a customer.

Show real work before asking for trust

Use screenshots or photographs of projects you genuinely delivered, with permission where needed. Explain the brief and what was included. Do not invent testimonials, customer names or sales increases. Our Work shows real published websites; it is a useful starting point when discussing the kind of site you want, rather than a promise that another business will get the same result.

A practical pre-launch check

  • Read the page on a phone and check the longest headings.
  • Tap the call, email and quote links.
  • Submit a real test enquiry and check the receiving inbox.
  • Confirm that your service area and office address are accurate.
  • Agree who will respond and how enquiries will be followed up.
